Aromasin (Exemestane)

Aromasin (Exemestane) lowers estrogen levels in postmenopausal women, which may slow the growth of certain types of breast tumors that need estrogen to grow in the body. Aromasin is used to treat early and advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Early breast cancer is cancer that has not spread outside the breast.

Nolvadex (Tamoxifen Citrate) is commonly used to treat certain types of breast cancer. It is also used to lower your risk of invasive breast cancer and keep some breast cancers from coming back. It blocks growth of breast tissue that needs estrogen to grow.
